Grace Journal Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 30, 2026
Grace Journal is a Christian journaling app for private reflections, personal prayers, and Scripture encouragement.
Information We Collect
- Account information, such as email address and display name
- Journal entries written by the user
- Saved Scriptures and personal prayers
- Device registration details used for the 3-device account limit
- Notification preferences and scheduled notification data
How We Use Information
We use information to provide account sign-in, sync content across devices, save personal content, match entries with KJV Bible verses, send notifications, and protect account access.
AI Verse Matching
When AI verse matching is enabled, journal entry text may be sent through a secure server-side function only to select relevant King James Version Bible verses. Grace Journal does not ask AI to rewrite Scripture, preach, diagnose, counsel, or summarize private details. If AI matching is unavailable, the app uses a built-in local KJV theme matcher.
Data Sharing
We do not sell user data. Data may be processed by trusted service providers needed to run the app, such as authentication, database, notification, hosting, and AI infrastructure providers.
User Choices
- Sign out of the account
- Disable notifications in device settings
- Request deletion of account data
